The Pascialone project in Corsica is the fruit of close cooperation between the world of agriculture, the village of Poggio-di-Venaco, which owns the land, and the renewable electricity industry. The solar farm, with installed capacity of 4.5MWp, is located on rocky ground (a dry river bed), with limited potential for agriculture. The decision to create a solar farm has allowed the rehabilitation of land that could not be farmed, as a process of rock removal was necessary for the construction work.

With a view to further enhancing the value of the site, it was seeded and a neighboring farmer uses it to graze a flock of sheep. In addition, in order to limit the visual impact of the solar farm and encourage local flora, a hedge consisting entirely of indigenous tree species has been planted.
