Gouts
Solar energy on the water’s surface
Gouts is a floating solar plant located in the Landes department of southwest France. It has a total capacity of 11 MW and is scheduled to come online at the end of 2023.
Like the O’MEGA1 and Cintegabelle plants, the Gouts floating solar plant uses a man-made lake in a former quarry.
In the same way the Cintegabelle plant did, Gouts has benefited from financing from prominent financial partners including Arkéa Banque Entreprises & Institutionnels, Caisse d'Epargne Aquitaine Poitou-Charentes, Hélia Conseil and MAIF Transition. Green electricity supplier Octopus Energy has signed a 20-year PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).
Our CSR commitment
Ecological monitoring
The site’s fauna and flora will be ecologically monitored throughout the plant’s life cycle.
