Akuo has had a presence in Colombia since 2017 and structured its local Colombian subsidiary in May 2018 focusing on the development and acquisition of new projects in the solar, hydroelectric and wind energy sectors.
Colombia is one of the most promising markets in Latin America, as it has excellent natural resources for renewable energy.
Akuo Colombia has already a 26MWp solar project under construction, Parque Solar Planeta Rica (LINK with Planeta Rica project page), located in the Caribbean cost, in the municipality Planeta Rica, Cordoba department.
