? Empowering Women and Innovating Agriculture: Akuo’s #Agrivoltaics Journey in Poland   ?️ On June 18, @[Blanche de Talhouët-Roy], Vice Director of the @[Akuo Foundation], showcased our innovative approach to agrivoltaism at a conference focusing on “Women and #agriculture, leaders of innovation and entrepreneurs of the living world”, hosted by the French Embassy in Poland.   Our agrivoltaics projects, which combine farming and power generation, not only promote sustainable energy production but also empower women in entrepreneurship while addressing the urgent need to adapt to climate change, which are important themes supported by the Akuo Foundation.    Poland’s strong interest in agricultural innovation, such as agrivoltaics, presents an opportunity for us to collaborate and create virtuous synergies in the transition to a more sustainable energy and agricultural system.    ? Akuo stands ready to support Poland in reaching its renewable energy goals and facilitating its energy transition.   Thank you Blanche for your participation, we are proud to contribute to Poland's sustainable future!   #Renewableenergy #Energytransition

Notre centrale solaire flottante OMEGA 1 à #Piolenc à l’honneur du JT France 2 ! ☀  Située sur un lac artificiel d’une ancienne carrière, elle est la plus grande centrale solaire flottante de France. Mais bien au-delà de la simple production d’électron verts, OMEGA 1 c’est aussi :  ?‍? Un volet agricole mis en place en concertation avec l'équipe municipale de Piolenc pour la mise à disposition de 6 hectares de terres à 6 jeunes agriculteurs locaux afin de leur permettre de réaliser des cultures expérimentales grenadiers, lavande bio, yuzu, pistachiers etc.... ?‍?‍? Un volet pédagogique, d'une part constitué d’un parcours éducatif situé autour de la centrale, permettant de sensibiliser riverains et visiteurs aux enjeux des énergies renouvelables. Les équipes de la @[Akuo Foundation] travaillent par ailleurs avec le centre aéré de Piolenc sur un ensemble d’ateliers permettant de sensibiliser les enfants et les adolescents aux enjeux de la transition énergétique, de la biodiversité et de l’agroécologie. ? Enfin, le volet participatif a été un grand succès puisque le #financement de la centrale a été ouvert à l'investissement participatif des habitants et entreprises du Vaucluse et des départements limitrophes via le portail #AkuoCoop. Chacun a ainsi pu donner du sens à son épargne, tout en bénéficiant de la rentabilité de la centrale. @[Katinka Rambert] @[johanna quijoux] @[Louis DRIEY]

Today, the #EUSEW is gathering in Brussels to discuss how the energy transition will be featured in the next EU mandate. ?? It is critical the European Commission and European Parliament send a bold message to all renewable energy stakeholders and investors. ? Gathered in Brussels, hundreds of #cleanenergy stakeholders stand ready to implement and roll-out the best technologies at the service of EU citizens. ? As of Akuo, we were honored to be represented by @[Nelson Luís] amongst the 30 young ambassadors, nominated for a year. Having the #younggeneration taking part to the actual #EU work is key for a genuine empowerement.
