Join Akuo as a Senior Project Controller F/M! 📊 We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Controller to join our Corporate Finance team in Lisbon and manage the financial aspects of a portfolio of three solar projects in Portugal. As a Senior Project Controller, your main responsibilities will include ensuring financial compliance with contractual and statutory obligations of the project company, preparing internal and external reports, managing financial statements, and tracking cash flows. 📢 Akuo at the 8th Latin American Energy Summit: what will be the future of renewables expansion in the region. Last week took place the 8th Latin American Energy Summit in Santiago, Chile. Bringing together operators in the energy sector from Latin America, engineering firms, infrastructure project developers, construction, investors, and government officials, @[Martin Bocage], VP Chile for Akuo, had the pleasure to speak about Akuo’s experience in the region. With a portfolio totalling billions of dollars in renewable generation and storage projects, the Latin America region faces many challenges. How will they advance in the coming years? What are the key factors for its development and implementation? What role do they play in the evolution of the business model of traditional energy companies in the region? These were the questions Martin addressed alongside his co-panelists in the discussion on “Renewables Expansion: the Future Reality of Grids.” To do so, he shared the challenges Akuo has faced with its projects in Chile and Uruguay, highlighting how, with 15 years of experience in countries with highly differing degrees of grid maturity, our teams have developed a broad and diverse expertise. Today, we leverage cutting-edge tools and resources to support the energy transition across the region. Latin America was Akuo’s first step in geographical diversification back in 2007, with the construction of three wind farms in Uruguay. Even then, Akuo was deeply convinced of the region’s transformative potential. Les investisseurs français, portugais, et plus largement les citoyens de l’Union Européenne ont, à cette occasion, démontré leur volonté d’investir leur épargne dans des projets à fort impact positif. En participant au financement de la construction d’une centrale photovoltaïque située dans l’une des régions les plus ensoleillées d’Europe, ils sont les acteurs du changement vers un modèle énergétique plus durable. 🌞 Retour sur l'atelier pédagogique à l'école de Faux-en-Périgord : sensibilisation à l'énergie solaire et à la biodiversité Nous avons récemment animé un atelier avec les classes de l'école primaire de Faux-en-Périgord, en Dordogne. L'objectif était de sensibiliser les élèves à l'énergie solaire, à l'agrivoltaïsme et à la biodiversité. Au programme : 📽️ Visionnage de vidéos sur les sources d’énergie, les énergies renouvelables et fossiles, le fonctionnement d’une centrale solaire et la présentation de l'agrivoltaïsme selon Akuo ⚡ Atelier sur le chemin de l’électricité, de la fabrication des panneaux jusqu’à la distribution chez les particuliers 🌿 Sensibilisation à la biodiversité avec une présentation des espèces présentes sur le site de la centrale 🏗️ Fabrication d’une maquette de centrale agrivoltaïque Les élèves ont été très curieux et impliqués tout au long de l'atelier.
