Akuo launches a crowdfunding campaign for 4 solar power plants located in Thessaly, Greece. It is the first campaign since AkuoCoop and @[Lendosphere] joined forces, and it is the opportunity for AkuoCoop to open up to the international market. ? This initiative enables all European citizens to participate in the refinancing of the Thessaly solar farm, thus becoming active players in the European energy transition. With a total output of 4 MWp, the 4 plants produce 6.3 GWh annually which is the equivalent to the consumption of 570 households. The Thessaly solar farm prevents the emission of 2,100 tonnes of CO2 every year. Empowering Women and Innovating Agriculture: Akuo’s #Agrivoltaics Journey in Poland ?️ On June 18, @[Blanche de Talhouët-Roy], Vice Director of the @[Akuo Foundation], showcased our innovative approach to agrivoltaism at a conference focusing on “Women and #agriculture, leaders of innovation and entrepreneurs of the living world”, hosted by the French Embassy in Poland. Our agrivoltaics projects, which combine farming and power generation, not only promote sustainable energy production but also empower women in entrepreneurship while addressing the urgent need to adapt to climate change, which are important themes supported by the Akuo Foundation. Poland’s strong interest in agricultural innovation, such as agrivoltaics, presents an opportunity for us to collaborate and create virtuous synergies in the transition to a more sustainable energy and agricultural system. ?
