At Akuo, our first storage projects date back to 2012, making us pioneers in this technology. Since then, the price of batteries has been divided by 10, while their capacity has been multiplied by 6. By deploying our batteries coupled with intelligent digital solutions, we enable intermittent energy sources such as solar and wind power to be integrated more smoothly into electricity grids. ? It's an internal, friendly and international competition where teams of 4 to 8 people will compete in a series of challenges: video & photo challenges, and sports activities. The goal is to bring all Akuo employees together during the Olympics, maintain the bond during the vacations and celebrate team spirit on a global scale! ? Located in Lavalleja, #Uruguay, with its 14 Vestas V112 wind turbines, each rated at 3.0 MW, the Minas wind farm generates a total output of 42 MW, avoiding the emission of 1,800 tonnes of CO2 every year. A key player in the fight against climate change. ? By supplying a large proportion of the electricity needed by the department of Lavalleja, it has helped Uruguay to generate 91% of its electricity from renewable sources in 2022, playing a crucial role in the transformation of the national energy landscape! But numbers don't tell the whole story. ?
