Driving Poland’s Sustainable Future at the Karpacz Economic Forum From September 3rd to 5th, we proudly participated in the Karpacz @[Economic Forum], highlighting Poland’s growing role as a key economic player in the EU. Our presence underscores our commitment to transforming Poland’s energy mix to a sustainable model. Since 2016, Akuo has operated 132 MW of wind energy, contributing significantly to Poland’s clean energy transition and reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 300,000 tons annually. We thank our partners at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCIPF for organizing interesting roundtables at the Café France, where our CEO, @[Adam Bedyk], had the pleasure to exchange with the Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski about the future of clean energy. Carbon footprint: -37% CO2 emissions, a result aligned with Akuo's values and commitments! With a strong desire for internal practices to be in line with corporate ambitions, we have been measuring our carbon footprint for several years now, to develop proactive policies tailored to our business sector. The results are there for all to see! The 2023 Carbon Footprint shows a 37% reduction in our CO2 emissions compared with the previous financial year. This is the result of 3 factors: - ✈ Improved commute management - ?Better waste management - ? Legal counsel by day, flag footballer the rest of the time, we are very proud to support her in her double career, particularly this August when she competes in the World Championships in Finland. ? 4-time French champion and leading player of the French national team, Louisa has all the values of #audacity and #inspiration that we share. Her commitment to developing her sport and its democratization, particularly among a female audience, is proof of this. At Akuo, our first storage projects date back to 2012, making us pioneers in this technology. Since then, the price of batteries has been divided by 10, while their capacity has been multiplied by 6. By deploying our batteries coupled with intelligent digital solutions, we enable intermittent energy sources such as solar and wind power to be integrated more smoothly into electricity grids. ? Smoothing intermittent energy production ? More efficient management of peak demand ?
