🚴 On World Car-Free Day, we supported the event organized by Cycling Club Perun on September 22, in Niksic, Montenegro The event, which started in front of the "Radoje Cizmovic" elementary school in Ozrinici, welcomed around 80 children from 1st to 8th grade. Participants rode a 3 km route and were able to attend a workshop on basic bicycle repairs, particularly useful for the group of about 15 children who cycle to school every day. We were proud to be one of the main sponsors of this initiative, which encourages young people to choose cycling as a sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transport, contributing to a cleaner environment. #WorldCarFreeday

🎙️ Akuo at the Accelerating Investment in Montenegro Conference 2025 In today's geopolitical turmoils, Western Balkans play a key role in regional stability and economic growth. The AIM conference 2025 organized under the high patronage of the European Commission, is meant to explore how strategic public investment, regional cooperation, and EU alignment can transform the Western Balkans - with Montenegro at the forefront - into a destination for sustainable capital. Such a tone was set from the start with the opening speeches delivered by President Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić. Akuo's Supervisory Board President, @[Eric Scotto], demonstrated by a thorough return on experience how renewable energy investment can benefit both citizens and the country at large during his participation to the panel “Accelerating the Western Balkans’ green and smart growth” to share our vision for sustainable investment in the region. 🤝 Akuo has been active in Montenegro since the development of Krnovo 72 MW, one of the country’s first wind farms. Our success here reflects the strong cooperation with national authorities and a shared ambition to make Montenegro a regional leader in clean energy. 📝Going beyond words, and being service-oriented, Akuo signed a new MoU with EPCG, the national electricity operator, for RES deployment, in particular a solar project and a storage one. Signature was held under the auspices of President von der Leyen and Prime Minister Spajić. 🌱 Closing of European Sustainable Development Week! 🍽️ To close European Sustainable Development Week, our employees shared a vegetarian potluck lunch with some of them bringing a dish that took less than 30 minutes to prepare, to share with their colleagues. This friendly moment provided an opportunity to exchange vegetarian recipes and discover new ways of cooking, while reducing our environmental impact. It was also an opportunity to discuss and reflect on the various initiatives organized by Akuo for the occasion: 🧑‍🏫 Several internal workshops on topics such as: “What is buying sustainably”, “CSR criteria in profit-sharing”, and “understanding biodiversity”. 🎤 Participation in the @[PRODURABLE] trade show and speaking at the conference on CSR backlash 🌍 The @[Ma Petite Planète] challenge, in which our employees are taking on environmental challenges until October 20. Il associe production d’énergie renouvelable et maintien d’une activité agricole durable, en apportant des solutions face aux aléas climatiques et en soutenant l’installation d’un jeune agriculteur. 🤝 Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui ont contribué à cette réussite collective. #agrivoltaïsme #transitionénergétique #crowdfunding
