? Akuo launches the AkuOlympics! ? On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games, we are delighted to launch our very own AkuOlympics from July 28 to September 8, 2024! It's an internal, friendly and international competition where teams of 4 to 8 people will compete in a series of challenges: video & photo challenges, and sports activities. The goal is to bring all Akuo employees together during the Olympics, maintain the bond during the vacations and celebrate team spirit on a global scale! ? ?Let's celebrate the Minas wind farm's anniversary! ? Located in Lavalleja, #Uruguay, with its 14 Vestas V112 wind turbines, each rated at 3.0 MW, the Minas wind farm generates a total output of 42 MW, avoiding the emission of 1,800 tonnes of CO2 every year. A key player in the fight against climate change. ? By supplying a large proportion of the electricity needed by the department of Lavalleja, it has helped Uruguay to generate 91% of its electricity from renewable sources in 2022, playing a crucial role in the transformation of the national energy landscape! But numbers don't tell the whole story. ? ?? Invest in Greece's energy transition with Akuo! ? Akuo launches a crowdfunding campaign for 4 solar power plants located in Thessaly, Greece. It is the first campaign since AkuoCoop and @[Lendosphere] joined forces, and it is the opportunity for AkuoCoop to open up to the international market. ? This initiative enables all European citizens to participate in the refinancing of the Thessaly solar farm, thus becoming active players in the European energy transition. With a total output of 4 MWp, the 4 plants produce 6.3 GWh annually which is the equivalent to the consumption of 570 households. The Thessaly solar farm prevents the emission of 2,100 tonnes of CO2 every year.
