? Akuo launches the AkuOlympics! ? On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games, we are delighted to launch our very own AkuOlympics from July 28 to September 8, 2024! It's an internal, friendly and international competition where teams of 4 to 8 people will compete in a series of challenges: video & photo challenges, and sports activities. The goal is to bring all Akuo employees together during the Olympics, maintain the bond during the vacations and celebrate team spirit on a global scale! ? ?Let's celebrate the Minas wind farm's anniversary! ? Located in Lavalleja, #Uruguay, with its 14 Vestas V112 wind turbines, each rated at 3.0 MW, the Minas wind farm generates a total output of 42 MW, avoiding the emission of 1,800 tonnes of CO2 every year. A key player in the fight against climate change. ? By supplying a large proportion of the electricity needed by the department of Lavalleja, it has helped Uruguay to generate 91% of its electricity from renewable sources in 2022, playing a crucial role in the transformation of the national energy landscape! But numbers don't tell the whole story. ? ? Empowering Women and Innovating Agriculture: Akuo’s #Agrivoltaics Journey in Poland   ?️ On June 18, @[Blanche de Talhouët-Roy], Vice Director of the @[Akuo Foundation], showcased our innovative approach to agrivoltaism at a conference focusing on “Women and #agriculture, leaders of innovation and entrepreneurs of the living world”, hosted by the French Embassy in Poland.   Our agrivoltaics projects, which combine farming and power generation, not only promote sustainable energy production but also empower women in entrepreneurship while addressing the urgent need to adapt to climate change, which are important themes supported by the Akuo Foundation.    Poland’s strong interest in agricultural innovation, such as agrivoltaics, presents an opportunity for us to collaborate and create virtuous synergies in the transition to a more sustainable energy and agricultural system.    ? Akuo stands ready to support Poland in reaching its renewable energy goals and facilitating its energy transition.   Thank you Blanche for your participation, we are proud to contribute to Poland's sustainable future!   #Renewableenergy #Energytransition
