This year, @[Antoine Guimard], Central Europe CEO, spoke on the panel “Implementation of RES Projects – Challenges and Opportunities”. He highlighted that beyond the climate emergency, the energy transition is a real opportunity for Montenegro, thanks to its natural resources, legal framework, and political will. Turning this potential into reality requires stable regulations, grid investment, and support for innovation. As he concluded:“Let’s make this happen! En opération depuis 15 ans, ce projet pionnier combine culture d’abricots biologiques et production d’électricité verte, démontrant qu’agriculture durable et transition énergétique peuvent aller de pair pour répondre aux défis de demain. 🤝 #agrivoltaics #renewableenergy Voir la publication 06/06/2025 🎉Celebrating 10 years of Les Cèdres Solar Farm! 📍 Located in Étang-Salé on Reunion Island, France, in Western Europe and Overseas Territories. ⚡ With 9 MW of installed capacity and 9 MWh of storage, Les Cèdres supports the local grid with a stable energy supply, helping Étang-Salé become the first energy-independent town on the island. 🌱 The project includes two sites: • Agrivoltaic farm: Photovoltaic panels covering 12 fish-rearing pools 1.5 MWp, operated by Max Dyckerhoff, a pioneer in aquaculture on Reunion Island, who has supplied local markets with tilapia for over 25 years. • Agricultural site: Photovoltaic sunshades span 7.5 hectares, supporting permaculture, agroforestry, and organic farming. These activities supply local markets and create jobs. The project was recognized for its positive impact and participatory model, involving citizens directly in the energy transition, setting a new standard for energy democracy and inclusive development. By connecting people directly with clean energy infrastructure, we brought renewable solutions closer to the local level and introduced innovative financing models that support sustainability and long-term resilience.
