🏆 Akuo awarded at the 10th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium Akuo Greece was honored with the Energy Initiative of the Year Award for its crowdfunding campaign via @[AkuoCoop] by @[Lendosphere], supporting the Thessaly solar power plant. The project was recognized for its positive impact and participatory model, involving citizens directly in the energy transition, setting a new standard for energy democracy and inclusive development. By connecting people directly with clean energy infrastructure, we brought renewable solutions closer to the local level and introduced innovative financing models that support sustainability and long-term resilience. 📢Solar 101 at the European Parliament: Agrivoltaics and Ecological Restoration at the Heart of the Energy Transition This Tuesday in Brussels, @[Alexandra Sombsthay]([remove]-iCi), Executive VP Sustainability & External Relations at Akuo, spoke at Solar 101 at the @[European Parliament], organized by @[Prof. Dr. Andrea Wechsler]([remove]-oOj8hVU), Member of the European Parliament, and @[Dries Acke]([remove]-JK), Deputy CEO of SolarPower Europe. Her talk, “Solar in harmony with the environment,” focused on agrivoltaics: combining solar energy and farming on the same land to make better use of space, support biodiversity, and help farms better withstand challenges. 📅 Réunion d’information à Dijon : échanges autour de la collecte de financement participatif de notre projet agrivoltaïque de Sombernon ! Hier soir, nous avons eu le plaisir de présenter notre projet agrivoltaïque de Sombernon et sa campagne de financement participatif lors d’une réunion d’information à la @[CCI Côte-d’Or ⋅ Saône-et-Loire ]à Dijon. Développé sur 54 hectares de terres, ce projet est le premier en France à associer grandes cultures et trackers solaires et a été conçu en étroite collaboration avec trois agriculteurs locaux.
