📢 On this Europe Day, Akuo reaffirms its commitment to a Europe capable of ensuring its energy security while accelerating its transition towards a sustainable and resilient model. In the face of current geopolitical and climate challenges, Europe's energy independence has become a strategic priority. Today more than ever, the transition to a decarbonized economy represents both an ecological necessity and a tremendous lever for economic growth.   The European Green Deal and the Clean Industrial Deal constitute ambitious frameworks that we fully support. These initiatives aim to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, while strengthening its industrial competitiveness. At Akuo, we actively contribute to this European vision by developing renewable energy projects that reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels, creating quality local jobs in the territories where we operate, and innovating for increasingly efficient and integrated energy solutions.   The decarbonization of our economy is not only a challenge to overcome, but also a tremendous opportunity to strengthen European technological leadership and ensure our resilience to external shocks. We are convinced that this transformation must be socially equitable. The support mechanisms provided by the European Union, such as the Climate Social Fund, are essential to support citizens and businesses during this transition.   🤝 On this Europe Day, let us remember that the spirit of solidarity that founded the European Union must also guide our common climate ambition. When future generations meet the future of energy - school visit at our winfarm in Poland “I want to work on a wind turbine – it’s such a cool job, wind turbines are awesome!” Hearing something like this from a 7-year-old is the best reminder of why it’s worth opening up our industry to younger generations. Last week, together with @[The Polish Wind Energy Association], we welcomed over 100 children to our Wielowieś Wind Farm for an educational visit focused on renewable energy and sustainability. It was a great opportunity to show what wind power really is – up close, in action, and with all the questions kids can come up with. Many thanks to @[Paweł Jasny] and @[Mirosław Korzeniewski]([remove]\_AWJzXli), our site managers at Akuo, for guiding the groups and sharing their expertise with passion and enthusiasm – no easy task when your audience includes a hundred energetic future engineers!
