Paris, France, Thursday January 19, 2023 - Eric Scotto and Patrice Lucas are pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas Couderc as the Akuo Group’s new Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Holding a PhD in Economics and an alumnus of ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure) Lyon and Sciences Po Paris, Nicolas Couderc has 15 years of experience in the energy sector. With a long-standing commitment to the energy transition, he has held a number of positions within EDF Renouvelables (EDF Renewables). From 2016 to 2022, he was Executive VP France of EDF Renouvelables and an Executive Committee member. Nicolas has also been a member of the Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables (French Renewable Energy Association) Board since 2016.

At Akuo, his mission will notably consist in supporting the acceleration in growth anticipated by the Group. Indeed, in 2023, Akuo is planning to launch the construction and financing of 1.5 GW of solar and wind capacities in 10 different countries. With 450 employees, the Group develops a total project portfolio of over 20 GW.
