Shaping a more sustainable future thanks to knowledge and education 🌍 At Akuo, we believe the energy transition is about more than just installing solar panels or wind turbines; it is fundamentally about transferring knowledge to future generations. This is the core mission of the Akuo EduLab project, our new "Living Lab" for sustainable education launched in the Republic of North Macedonia in partnership with Eco Logic and the Goce Delcev University, and with the support of the French Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia. This innovative program supports Educational Sciences students in acquiring green competencies and gives them the opportunity to pass this knowledge on to primary school pupils aged 6 to 12 through hands-on school activities. Designed as a hybrid model connecting higher education and school practice, Akuo EduLab aims to make sustainability topics more accessible, interactive and relevant to everyday life. 🎓 Covering themes such as renewable energy, biodiversity, sustainable gardening, systems thinking and environmental communication, the project contributes to building stronger environmental awareness and practical teaching skills. 🧑🏻‍🏫 These future teachers will then have the opportunity to put theory into practice thanks to a 45-day internship in primary schools. 🤝 Akuo reinforces its long-term commitment to Greece’s energy transition at the Greece-France Economic Forum This weekend, Akuo took part in the French presidential delegation to Greece, alongside French and Greek leaders, to strengthen strategic and economic cooperation between our two countries.  At the Greece-France Economic Forum in Athens, our CEO @[Bruno Bensasson]([remove]\_-) spoke during the Energy Transition panel, sharing perspectives on Europe’s path toward a more resilient, sovereign and decarbonized energy system.  ✒️ This visit was also marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of renewable energy projects in Greece, in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.  🗣 ”France and Greece are strong European partners, to all extent. Akuo is honoured to contribute to this enrooted partnership for its energy part, as energy is a key condition for economic and social prosperity as well as for sovereignty. We are pleased to announce the nomination of @[Nathanael Esposito] as Director of the Development, Strategy & Markets Department DSM at Akuo. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, most of it in Renewables, Nathanaël has held several senior leadership positions allowing him to play a central role in creating successful strategies and growing businesses globally. As a member of Akuo’s Executive Committee, Nathanaël will draw on his experience and industry knowledge to lead the newly created DSM department, with a mission to ensure the central governance and steering of Development, define Akuo’s Strategy, and lead Energy Marketing activities to drive our accelerated and profitable growth. He will also oversee Public Affairs, fostering constructive engagement with public institutions and shaping favorable regulatory environments. 🌎 Akuo was at the 9th Latin America Energy Summit in Santiago, Chile. Bringing together key players from across the energy sector, the Summit was a key moment to discuss how Latin America’s energy markets are evolving in a rapidly changing landscape. ⚡ Our Country Manager Uruguay and VP Chile, @[Martin Bocage], took part in a panel exploring the region’s next phase of development. As Chile consolidates its role as a front-runner in renewables and storage, the conversation now turns to what comes next: scaling investments across neighboring countries, adapting business models to new market dynamics, and addressing the need for stronger grid integration across the Southern Cone.
