Hydrogen
Energy revolution
For the Akuo group, renewable energy lies at the heart of the hydrogen ecosystem. The production of hydrogen from renewable energy is a tool for fighting “grey” hydrogen produced from fossil fuels. This production can notably be undertaken via an electricity-consuming water electrolysis system, on both a small and large scale (small electrolysers, industrial generators, production plants, etc.)
The hydrogen produced in this manner can then fuel not only the electro-mobility sector (a growing number of electric cars are equipped with a hydrogen tank and a fuel cell supplying electricity to the motor, an entirely zero-emission process) but also industry (chemicals, steel, pharmaceuticals, fertiliser, etc.), which is a major global consumer of hydrogen.
