A photovoltaic plant committed to ecological enhancement

Located in Corsica, the Santa Lucia project, operational since 2011, lies next to a company that specializes in recycling sludge, a SYVADEC recycling plant and a wastewater plant. The installation of this photovoltaic plant has hence enabled this land that is unsuitable for urbanization to be enhanced. As well as the measures implemented during its construction to reduce the environmental impacts, seedlings were planted to counter soil erosion.

Furthermore, part of the site was left free for a young permaculture farmer to use. This solution has helped the local agricultural sector, the social aspect and biodiversity via a program to enhance the plots from an agricultural and ecological standpoint.
